Carrying on a tradition of exceeding ALL expectations, Tecnocraft is proud to finally release our latest creation… a creation that embodies all the heart and spirit of the creative team here at Tecnocraft. This latest creation is the T2 line of Dry Carbon Seats. Spine formed to the back side of a normal torso, the Tecnocraft T2 line of seats is about as comfortable as it gets. There were no shortcuts made to get where we are today. Designing of this seat was out of necessity because the marketplace started to demand a more comfortable seat. Compared to the Tecnocraft T1, we shortened the lower thigh supports to allow a more comfortable entry/exit and added more support to the upper torso because it was needed.

Fiber             Kevlar

With over 25 years of professional race car composite fabrication experience, we have been building one off race seats for quite some time. Using all the technology that we have developed throughout the years, we have applied it to the Tecnocraft T2 line of seats. A totally new designed seat that’s a bit more forgiving and also more supportive than the Tecnocraft T1. We are offering the T2 seats in a standard version for the average body build and a larger version for the heavier set guys, the larger version will be known as the T2L. The Tecnocraft T2 is approx. 6.5lbs(3.0kgs) and the T2L is approx. 7.0lbs(3.2kgs).

The Tecnocraft T2 line of seats is constructed entirely of carbon fiber and/or carbon kevlar with aerospace grade stiffeners, reinforcements and the latest epoxy resins to obtain the lightest weight and yield the highest strength possible. We also incorporated a certain reinforcement material known as Vectran®. Vectran is a liquid crystal polymer fiber that is primarily used in aerospace and military where high strength is desired. Using the best material available is how Tecnocraft can excel and produce a high quality seat that’s both strong and light.

Given all the professional race technology and aerospace grade materials we have incorporated into the Tecnocraft T2 line, we are able to offer the strongest and lightest dry carbon fiber seats to the market. Given the fact that we have been commissioned to build one off seats for quite some time now, designing and creating the T2 was a fairly easy task here at Tecnocraft.

Tecnocraft's T3 seat platform is built on the success of our T2 line up. We designed our T3s to be chassis-specific for the Lotus Elise, Exige, or Tesla Roadster. The T3 is purposefully made with emphasis on comfort and safety while also maintaining high strength and weight reduction. The Tecnocraft T3 seat weighs approx. 8.0lbs(3.63kgs).

Fiber             Kevlar

The Tecnocraft T3 line of seat requires nothing more than simple hand tools to install. It utilizes the factory seat rails and hardware for that simply brilliant concept known as plug and play! There is no required cutting, tucking, or replacing of the factory brackets or sliders. What it takes to install the Tecnocraft T3 seat into a 111 platform is simply to remove your OE seat assembly and replacing the factory seat with the T3. Plug the new assembly back in and go out and play as you desire with the most comfortable feel which truly redefines the “driving experience” that we all crave so much.

Designed with the same basic principles as our T2 line of seats, the Tecnocraft T3 is spine formed to backside of a normal torso and grafted into a double skinned Dry carbon seat shell. Using the latest aerospace materials combined with over 25 years of professional race car composite fabrication experience, we are able to produce a high quality seat specifically for the Lotus 111 platform. 

Just like the Tecnocraft T2 line of seats, the T3 line of seats are also constructed entirely of carbon fiber and/or carbon Kevlar with aerospace grade stiffeners, reinforcements and the latest epoxy resins to obtain the lightest weight and yield the highest strength possible. T4 Dry Carbon Fiber Seats
Tapping into over 25 years of professional race car composite fabrication experience Tecnocraft presents the T4 line of seats. A totally new seat designed for comfort, safety and support. Our latest sport seat incorporates a wider shoulder area for increased upper body support, reducing driver fatigue while another feature is the larger cut-out provisions for the safety harness adding comfort for those drivers sporting a wider stance.

Tecnocraft’s T5 seat offers drivers security and comfort while also being made of full Dry Carbon, making it incredibly lightweight and durable. The T5 sits at a total height of 34 1⁄2 inches and weighs 8lbs, a noticeable reduction from stock seats. The T5 is comparable to T4 with small increases in height, leg wall height, leg width space, an updated shoulder harness shape, and 2 seat support mounting points on the back of the seat. The T5 fits well in most builds without fitment issues, and gives your build an upgrade in interior presentation in full Dry Carbon with significant weight reduction compared to other bucket seats.
